Post-Game Talk: Literally shooting yourself in the foot

there was 6 mistakes on that game winning goal.

McDavid with a stupid turnover, Kulak useless, Nurse and the other forward on their bellies, Skinner going to the bathroom, and then Draisaitl tucks it in.
I don’t know what the team was doing during the last 30 seconds. They completely abandoned structure to try and win the game in the last 30 seconds just like game 1 in LA. Why was Kulak pinching with 30 seconds left instead of just staying put.

His entire game where he makes a great play up ice despite being double teamed on the play to spring McD and Perry for his first goal.

Or a great shot that hits iron. Or another good shot that barely misses.

In a tight game he had those. Was he his usual great self? no. Is this thread yet another ugly calling out of our best players that are really the only reason to watch? Yes.

I dunno. We seem to blame our superstars intead of an org that didn't address the goaltending which was the real story tonight. Starting from the first Vegas goal the Oilers were shaking their heads and McD did. They knew they were in a dogfight becuase of the doofus in net. Once again you need 5 goals to win if Skins is in net.
I love Draisaitl but he hasn’t been himself. Missing chances he usually buries, multiple turnovers and then that deflection…

Would you want to go to ot with Skinner? 😂

Skinner is f***ing delusional.

Gave the team a chance. Get the f*** out of here.
Behind the calm, happy go lucky demeanor, his interviews scream arrogant f*** face who thinks his shit doesn’t stink. Most goalies would say “I should have had this goal or that goal, I’ll review the tape and see what I did wrong so I make the save next time.”

Skinner basically says “It’s not me who sucks, it’s everyone else.”

I mentioned Skinner in the OP too.

Drai had like 3 bad plays which led directly to goals against.
