Call me crazy but I think they should play either Forsberg or whoever's available the first nights of the back to backs. So 3 in total. Play Ullmark in the games where we'll need him to stand on his head in the 3rd.

This was great. He also made a point to say they can’t get too high off the wins because what happens when you start to win is that other teams notice and play you harder, so you have to be ready to elevate.

It’s nice to have this kind of perspective from a guy that is also one of your best players.
I always enjoy his interviews, never cookie-cutter answers. Such a breathe of fresh air. Would like to see fans at CTC start chanting his name, either Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenus or Ullllllllllllllllllllllllmark 😁.

So how many games should Ullmark play in the 9 game road trip?

Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Seattle are 6 points apart in the standings right now so there's no real mismatch. Personally I'd have Forseberg play Edmonton (since its the second half of a back to back) and have Ullmark play the rest.
I'd have the backup also play the Wild and St. Louis games as they're also both the second game of a B2B. That means Ullmark would play 6 of the 9. But will it be Forsberg this weekend? Did he travel with the team?

No Forsberg stayed home for the 1st part of the road swing.

I'd go with Ullmark in the first game. If he gets slammed - go with the backup for the second game. If he does well then you have a choice to go with the hot hand.

The fans did start that chant...twice at the last home game. It was goose bump material being there.

It makes me appreciate Craig Anderson even more. We were lucky to have had such steady goaltending for 8 years. And now good goaltending is back! Welcome to your Ullmark years!

On top of that all the nonsense he had to deal with - remember Lehner came in and said he was hunting Andy, Hamburglar, Melnyck, so many coaches, having that pressure on you every night, no rizpek, the team he was playing for sucked, the GM was a moron.

Andy was great athletically - but everyone left except for him and he still thrived in a completely unhealthy environment, so even more impressive when you pan out

Man the Ullmark thread in the Trade Rumours section actually got locked because Boston fans couldn't shake the collective delusion of Korpisalo being a stud backup and Kastelic being a late-blooming power forward. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

He's also third all-time in SV% in the playoffs (>20GP):

Dude was good when he wasn't making dinner.
