Line Combos: Lines you expect to see vs what you want to see

Exactly, I dont get why Petry, who has last his entire package of skills, would be playing top four minutes, let alone top 6 minutes over AlJo.

Because coaches/GM's are obsessed with 'experience', even if that player's physical ability, and in some cases, mental ability has declined.

The team is better off with a whole year of Aljo learning than a year of Petry dragging the whole ship down.

I think if Ed and AlJo are given the opportunity, they will be better defensively than some combo of 2 of Ghost, Holl, and Petry from last season. I could be wrong but I think both are fairly defensively aware and both are terrific skaters, which helps recover from mistakes, along with a myriad of other things.

I'd still love to add a top 4 type dman with some jam, but I like our defense better than last season, as long as Ed, in particular, and AlJo are given the opportunity to play decent minutes.
