Pyatt and Newbury? I was watching Full Metal Jacket last night. The drill sargeant had Private Pyle walking with his pants down and sucking his thumb. That's what Torts is doing putting Gaborik with Newbury and Pyatt.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight dude. a team that cant score goals brought over a kid from sweden (who had to wave his right to play for Sweden in the nationals) to just sit around and not play this season. that makes a BOATLOAD of sense man, good logic
 
i obviously quoted the wrong post, that was supposed to be in response to him saying fasth wont play till next season. which is one of the most illogical contentions of all time when you simply look at the facts regarding him being brought over to NY

This better be a precursor for trading him, cause this is just unfair to Gabs. Let him salvage his season with a team pushing for a cup.

I wouldnt put it past Tortorella if he were doing it on purpose just to make him look worse, thus even more reason to move him.

According to Norwegian media, Zukes work visa isn´t ready yet. So he couldn´t have played against Ottowa even if Torts wanted him to. Visa may not be ready for Montreal game either.

Most likely Zuccs first possible comeback game is against the Jets on Monday.

Btw, have I understood the rules correctly that if the Rangers do not give Zuccarello an extension offer this summer, he becomes a UFA?

I do not think that is correct. He could play on a temp visa. In fact Torts just said MZA will play on Sat but he does not know which line.

You do understand that the Rangers have what is termed a "minor league team," correct? I don't know if you're new to the sport, but no one is saying Fast(h) "won't play till next season." These "minor league teams" serve as a prospect development point where players not ready for the NHL go to develop. Believe it or not, most successful teams utilize these "minor league teams" and develop their players down there.

While this may seem to be "one of the most illogical contentions of all time when you simply look at the facts," it would likely be a good idea for the Rangers to get Fast(h) some seasoning and some strength and conditioning prior to him joining the Rangers.

Bring up MZA, Fasth, CT, and get Asham, Powe, Boyle, Pyatt all the **** out of here.

run out 4 lines. Don't be scared of the kids costing us games...the ****ing vets already are.
