Formenton-Stutzle-Batherson
Tkachuk-LBrown-Norris
Paul-White-CBrown/Dadonov
Chlapik-Tierney-Watson

Unlikely but I’d like to see something like this at some point.

Tierney and dadonov not really fitting in here. Hopefully shipped out soon. Pinto when ready will be a big addition.

I know formenton on the top line might look wrong. Just want to see it.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed LBrown isn’t traded.

Formenton with Jimmy Stü would drive other teams D nuts !! Speed and grit would be insane !!!

Connor Brown isn't being slotted right. If you are hoping for him to come out .. well that just isn't going to happen.
He is a good 3rd line checking role winger that can PK. He should not be on the 1st 2 lines and he should not be on the PP.
I do agree L Brown and Forms have to come in sooner or later.
We need to waive a D or have one on IR to get Wolanin in and keep Zub in.
We have to waive 2 forwards to get L Brown and Forms in.
We could waive Stepan and Anisimov. That would create two roster spots.

The problem with Connor Brown is that he has been bad offensively this year. If he cant contribute in that area then he is essentially a 4th liner. Same with Tierney these guys need to find a way to chip in offensively in their roles. If they cant find a way to contribute offensively consistently then it doesn't make much sense for them to keep prospects out of the lineup.

If they keep the forwards the same these are the line combinations I would try.

Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson
Stützle-Tierney-Galchenyuk
Paul-White-Dadanov
Watson-Stepan-C.Brown

Or

Tkachuk-Norris-Galchenyuk
Stützle-Tierney-Batherson
Paul-White-Dadanov
Watson-Stepan-C.Brown

Nothing works because we need two top 6 centers. :)

Connor Brown appears to have lost a step. Third liner at best now.

Logan Brown called up. It gets exciting now.

ideal:

Tkachuk-Brown-Dadonov
Stutzle-White-Batherson
Paul-Tierney-Brown
Galchenyuk-Stepan-Watson

Intriguing:

Tkachuk-Brown-Batherson
Stutzle-White-Dadonov
Paul-Tierney-Brown
Galchenyuk-Norris-Watson(could be exciting to see)

Deepest:

Tkachuk-Norris-Dadonov
Paul-Brown-Batherson(dominated AHL)
Stutzle-White-Brown
Galchenyuk-Tierney-Watson

Unproven but certainly has greater possibility of turning into a better team with improved first and second lines. I prefer Formenton to play with Stuzle as both have greater quickness and hegh end speed. The vets we have are slow as malasses, which match the speed of Dorion's mind.

I think you have to separate Brown and Batherson in order to get a playmaker on that top line.

Maybe swap Dadonov and Batherson.

Every time I try to make a cool line-up I struggle because Connor Brown makes that 3rd line a bit offensively deficient.

With L. Brown and Wolanin hopefully coming back, here's my line combos:

Tkachuk - White - Dadonov <- White drives, Dadonov shoots, Tkachuk gets the tip or rebound
Stutzle - Tierney - C. Brown <- not ideal but pairing Stutzle with some defensively responsible players at this point isn't a bad idea
Paul - L.Brown - Batherson <- the AHL line reunited!
Galchenyuk - Norris/Stepan - Watson <- I'd actually sit Norris for a couple of games; this line wouldn't play much 5vs5 anyway if I'm coach

Chabot - Zaitsev <- I'm almost ready to promote Zub here
Brannstrom - Zub <- hoping Brannstrom stays and Reilly goes, although Reilly has been better of late with fewer minutes
Wolanin - Gudbranson

PP1:
Tkachuk - L.Brown - Dadonov
Chabot - Stutzle

PP2:
Galchenyuk - White - Batherson
Wolanin - Zub

The Sens need offense and they need to actually build skill lines.

Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson
Stützle-L.Brown-Galchenyuk
Paul-White-Dadanov
Watson-Tierney-C.Brown

or maybe something like:
Tkachuk-Stützle-Galchenyuk
Paul-L.Brown-Batherson
Norris-White-Dadanov
Watson-Tierney-C.Brown

Not sure about the lines but yes, that’s what I’ve been saying.
A lineup with Stutzle-Tierney-CBrown for example is garbage.

Put skilled guys with skilled guys.

Also..Formenton is already better than CBrown,Galchenyuk,Tierney,Watson, and even Dadonov the way he’s been playing.

Also also..Abramov, Chlapik are better than most those guys too. Ok Watson brings the physical so he’s fine. The other guys suck.

Formenton-Brown-Norris
Tkachuk-Stutzle-Batherson
Paul-White-Dadonov
Abramov-Chlapik-Watson

^That’s what you do if you want exciting hockey and eventual 2 pts every night.

If Logan plays tonight it will be in place of Norris since no one was waived yesterday.

I’d like to see

Stutzle White Dadonov
Tkachuk Brown Batherson
Paul Tierney Brown
Galchenyuk Paquette Watson

Same D as yesterday

Hogberg will get lit up.

The team didn't put anyone on waivers yesterday, so the only way LBrown and Wolanin get back in is if someone goes on IR, so one of Bath, Norris, Brann or Stutzle come out. Dorion's roster management is a disaster. My guess is that Wolanin and Brown WILL NOT play tonight. Plus, DJ must by dying to get Paquette back in there.

Isn't there still two empty slots on the taxi squad now too??

This team is offensively challenged and we won't win any games even if we miraculously become elite defensively, and the reason are the followings

Reasons in the correct order

1. Don't have a true #1 Center (No Logan Brown is not the option, althought I want him to be in the lineup in our top2 over Stephan and Tierney)
2. Tkachuk being used as the #1 option for offense all the time (First line is basically renamed as Tkachuk's line)
3. C.Brown, Tierney, Stephan, White and Paul all constantly used as top 6 forwards (None of these are top 6)
4. Dadonov being useless (more like pathetic)
5. Norris being used as a #1 Center (His prime is a 2nd line center. Will never be a #1 Center)

Probably sounds harsh but I feel it's pretty accurate.
