Who knows. I do think Lindy has a better understanding of roster building than Adams does. Whether he’s capable of it is another question.

It's worth it so that later it would be easy to fire Appert if necessary and find a good coach. It's harder to get rid of the idiot Adams, but it's necessary.

I was hopeful when Lindy was brought back. I was not thrilled to see it was just a two year deal and that it coincided with the remaining two years on his deal with NJ. I was really not thrilled when they announced who his staff would be.

Now, I will be surprised if Lindy doesn't quit before the end of the season.

Calling the Sabres a tire fire is an insult to tire fires everywhere.

It would all be pegulas comfort which is the thing that needs to be thrown overboard. Lindy probably has relationships and biases throughout the organization.

Maybe he's done for and this franchise is the end of him. I don't understand why he didn't want to add good assistants before the season, and if he did, why is he just keeping quiet while Adams blatantly lies to all of us at a press conference that Ruff was completely satisfied with this garbage coaching staff.

I think people are giving Lindy a pass because of:

A) His past history with the team.
B) He was not allowed to bring in any new assistants from outside the organization.
C) Adams has been sitting on his hands and has not made a single roster move since the start of the year outside re-claiming Reimer on waivers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ruff threw up his hands and walked away from this absolute tire fire.

Timely scoring
Power play has kicked in
Finding different ways to win
Goaltending has been great

Kulich moves better in the center of the ice, overall game has been good, having the line together has helped
Benson's game is in a good place/his pk has been good, Quinn's game is in a much better place now
They gave Dahlin a maintenance day yesterday
Samuellson has found his game

Lindy is not a huge problem, although I do worry about his health/age going through this mess his gm/owner conned him into.

He's a terrible coach though. Why on earth would he give up a paycheck to go do nothing? Pegula was the only one dumb enough to hire him. Nobody else is.
