I don't know, we should definitely be looking at that. 6M for 8 years, we're buying up lots of his UFA years while not paying him what Ekblad got. With Lindholm continually calling out Anaheim for "lowball" offers, you gotta wonder what BM is actually giving him.

That would be logical if were a 6 year deal like Jones or Rielly. On an 8 year deal the team is buying two extra UFA years of a top-pairing D in his prime. Considering that, his ask is a bargain, miles from "greedy".

I don't believe this cause I would assume Murray would be all over this in a heart beat. 6+ mill is a steal for the next 8 years... basically I assume over 6 means somewhere in the 6-7 per year area.... get it done. In year 3 of 8, it will be a massive steal
