Yeah, many European NHLers do summer training with their youth clubs. Lindholm skating with Rögle isn't that big of a deal.

Murray needs to be fired. He hasn't handled ABSOLUTE NOTHING this off season in good shape or fashion. It's just unbelievable how bad this Gm is. With his horrible contracts, and his horrible negotiating skills I'm surprised he's even our GM at this point.

I believe that figure has 25 roster players, Gaborik is going on LTIR. Cap will look quite a bit different the first day of the season. Not to mention numerous guys making around 1.6-2M that could easily be moved if it's close.

Worst case scenario Kings upgrade from Martinez to Lindholm and recoup some of the picks by trading Martinez.

It would help the Kings and give the Ducks picks when they're in win now mode. Not to mention if Lindholm did sign a Kings offersheet he wouldn't have to move and the Ducks would be forced to match, with their internal cap, or give up Lindholm for a handful of picks. Lombardi may not believe in offersheets but for a division rival I'm hoping he makes an exception.

Lindholm > Trouba and Trouba wants to get pay a good amount as well so Ducks are not trading Lindholm for Trouba.
