That's a hard one to answer because there are around 20 ''top 15'' candidates so inevitably someone is going to fall just due to sheer numbers.
I know. With the Kraken sitting at 20, I am fairly confident a "top-15" player would be available to us. I have seen Reinbacher, ASP, Willander, Yager, Musty, Honzek, Sale all outside the top-15 in different rankings. Will be very interesting to see which prospects end up dropping.

Cristall is a late first/second round talent at this point, so I'm not considering him here.

-Zach Benson might slip into the teens due to size
-Calum Ritchie will slip due to little improvement from last year to this year
-Eduard Sale has been slipping because of his work ethic
-Michkov and other Russians will fall because of political reasons
-Yager could slip due to his production, but I could still see the Hawks pick him at 19
-Brindley will fall due to size and is likely not drafted on day 1
-Oliver Moore and Matthew Wood are polarizing players in the scouting community, so you never know where they will go

Small forwards historically fall. Think DeBrincat and Stankoven.

Maybe Gavin Brindley? He’s a fantastic prospect but could see him slipping due to his size. Jayden Perron, he’s a great player too but could see him sliding into the mid 2nd.

According to this website, there's like 40 top 15 candidates lmao.

Sawchyn too, he reminds me alot of stankoven, though I guess he's not a consensus top 15 guy so nvm.

If Jayden Perron slips to the 2nd round, whichever team finally stops being dumb deserves that damn cookie! One of the more complete players in the draft and overlooked A LOT. Love his two-way game.

If reinbacher falls that much a good amount of gms need to be fired. Every else is realistic though.

Cristall and Musty could fall outside of the 1st.

Sale I think is saved by his WJC and stops his fall by 25.

Heidt, Brindley, Stenberg and Perron could fall out of the 1st as well, but few would have them quite as high as top 15 in their rankings to begin with.

All these become more likely the faster D's start coming off the board. If guys like Bonk, Akey, Lindstein, Gulyayev, Molendyk, Price, Morin start a run on D in the mid 20s we could see a bit of a freefall for some of these forwards.

This was exactly what I was thinking, around Minnesota’s pick I could see a run of dmen go and bump some forwards out of the first. Wonder if any teams look at that and try to trade into the top of the second round to get a forward they are high on.

You'd have to give me a top 15 list for us to even start answering the question.

Looking at my own top 15, the players most likely to be there at #20 are Quentin Musty and the two Lokomotiv players Daniil But and Dmitri Simashev.

All three I'd count as steals for the Kraken at #20.

I think you’ll be surprised about Cristall on draft day

I feel like Oliver Moore could fall further than some expect.

Same with Sandin Pellikka.
Unless someone really likes his speed.

From what I've seen, which isn't a whole lot he's a really, really good Paul Byron.

Might seem as an insult, but Byron was solid for a bit for the Habs and his speed alone got him so many chances.

As for a faller, probably Bedard to 5th

Lots of names (i.e., Brindley) coming up that aren't in a consensus top-15.

For Americans easy money is on Moore or Perreault. I wouldn't be shocked to see either go in the latter half of the top 10 and I would be shocked to see either guy fall into the 20s. I imagine the potential range for both is fairly wide overall compared to the average prospect.

Dude you really need to read about the scouts and executives Pronman polled. Almost all of them said they wouldn't draft him in the 1st round and some even said the 2nd. Only one scout said he considers him a top 20 guy.

There’s too many undersized forwards, some of Yager, Heidt, Cristall, Moore, Perrault, Stenberg are gonna get lost in the shuffle and slip into the second.

Sale will drop to the bottom 3rd of the 1st round over bust concerns.

Cristall will fall out of the 1st round for the same reasons Dumais fell to the 3rd round.

I suspect the trend towards big blueliners will result in ASP falling past pick 20.

Also think there's a good chance Heidt, Nadeau and Gulayev could be day 2 picks, despite their talent and upside.
