It's crazy that they can mess up something that has always been dramatic and cinematic.

I'm not really shocked.

Yakuza thrives on a mix of serious crime drama story beats and the absolute goofiest, out of pocket shit you can think of happening on the side/in the background.

Throwing one in the trash and expecting the other to thrive is just asking for mid.
