Bordeaux' stadium isn't theirs.
Their debt is superior to the players' value.
I assume Bordeaux gets all the income from stadium as tenants. If so, annual rent of 3,85M to city doesn't seem so bad.

Edit: read from some of the links, that City gets part of the income from concerts etc, but on the other hand taxpayers pay estimated 4M annually for stadium maintenance.

Wikipedia mentions an arrangement below, but based on that, not sure how the construction company profits from their 114M investment. Surely they would have been interested selling their share of the ownership.

Bordeaux has now folded and given up their professional status. Sad.

Wonder what the city and construction company are planning to do with the stadium from now on, with no income coming from football.

Surely France's 6th biggest metro area (1,4 M people) should be able to run a pro football team successfully.
