Honestly, if this is HF after a month long optimization, you need to fire everyone. Holy f***.

EDIT: OMFG This is unusable. Atkinsons and Brown on Waivers.
I Still didnt get it with Brown, what does it means that he is on waivers? Is he signed with us?Or someone else?

Pretty sure we’re just giving Brown a chance, doubt it has anything to do with any trades. Though I would love to be wrong

Definitely feels like some big stuff is going on. With Atkinson buried or claimed, and the possibility of moving someone like Perbix or Sheary (with a sweetener) we'd have ~8 million in deadline space give or take.

All this says to me is that there is a huge hole with Capfriendly gone. Pair this Brown thing with just discovering Arvidsson and Henrique both have a NMC, there is a lot of stuff slipping through the gaps.

He's been signed the whole time but on LTIR i thought? So at some point he must have come off LTIR and was just press boxed without any of noticing?
He was on a PTO during the preseason, got hurt in training camp, and that pretty much took any potential deal off the table.

When he finally got healthy, he took an AHL deal with Syracuse to keep working for a NHL contract

Capwages.com seems to have taken up the mantle, although there are a few other sites.

I hadn't even heard of thestanleycap.com until a few days ago.

Didn't realize there was a deadline in place today. The waiting game continues.

Brown got signed to an NHL deal today, which places him on the NHL roster, if even only on paper. To be reassigned back to the AHL, he needs to clear waivers, which is why he’s on them now.

This is identical to a few weeks ago with Halverson.

We'll probably paper some guys around to get them eligible for the AHL playoffs. They have to be on an AHL roster during the NHL trade deadline in order to be eligible.
