I don't recall there ever being a ruckus atmosphere inside SC with the old lighting other than the OT game winners in the playoffs and the final 5 minutes of the NJ series…..

Do people actually pay attention to the atmosphere NOT on the ice??????

SC was never made to have a consistently loud crowd. Look at the way it's built. It's too big. Smaller places like the Shark Tank will have noisier crowds.

Either way it's improved significantly.

They've been steadily adding significantly more LED lighting modules over the last few weeks. They also added lighting to light up the first few seating rows around the glass to allow the players to see the pucks better that are shot around the glass.

Either way it's improved significantly.

No, they added more LED lights and its clear that its brighter both at the arena and on television. Some of the players, notably Martinez, complained that they couldn't see the puck against the backdrop of the first five rows, or when it went into corners, it was much harder to see. So I think where they added the lights is along the rink board (above, obviously) and the first few rows of fans.

Much better now.
