I really think pre-draft trades should take place. Even for just a few hours instead of the usual 24h. Contending teams load up at the trade deadline and can use that time to swap players rights for picks/prospects. While non-playoff/early exit teams can revamp their roster then. It's the only chance to make move, trade up/down in the draft, take advantage of teams in tough cap position before free agency. Plus, there are bound to be blockbuster trades (as shown by the years we had it or were supposed to have it) if picks can be traded right at draft along with players or on their own.

We had it before and it was nice. I don't think it's worth it to skip the whole thing and be unable to make a move from march 5th to july 1st just to have Michael Neuvirth or a Troy Brouwer make it to free agency.

Yeah but you guys complain how there is nobody in F/A, as far as picking up players for playoffs, think of it as a rental. Usually you acquire them just for the playoffs and lose them the next year. It is whatever though, we'll have it next season most likely.

Every prospect is for sale!!! I'm looking for developed players to help my team immediately. I would post their names and potential but there are too many. 3 1/2* Y - 4 1/2* Y. Plenty of 4* Y too.

To make things easier for any interested in Ovi. I'm looking for a 1st Line Winger/Center 4Y+/4G+ and/or a 4Y prospect and/or draft pick(mid). This is all dependent on value of each piece of the deal of course, higher the 1st line player in skill or potential the less important the other pieces are, vice versa and etc.

Also, Curtis McKenzie (79 OVR), Mark McNeill (80 OVR) and Vince Trocheck (79 OVR) are all available. All three are great fourth liners who will put up 20-30 points every year while playing a steady two-way game.

As a Habs fan I thought I would NEVER trade P.K. Subban but seeing how there are many teams interested in him, I'm most definitely considering trading him now so he is officially on the block!

Just a reminder that all of prospects are on the block.

I have many 3 1/2* Y - 4 1/2* Y prospects.

I'm looking for teams that can afford to trade developed players for a soon-to-be everyday player.

Any type of deal could work for me.

Lots of prospects available (would be looking for in return veteran players/developed)

- Could do a blockbuster deal as well for Giroux, Parise, or Kessel.
