This. You can play playoff hockey all you want, but you still need to have the top end talent to finish the chances and find the limited opportunities. Carolina is a well oiled machine, but they severely lack high end talent. We are pretty much the opposite. If and when we find that playoff structure and gear, we have the talent to do a lot of damage.See the thing with Carolina is they’re playing playoff hockey every night. But when a team far more skilled than they are decide to match that playoff intensity I just don’t think they can go to another level. And that’s what the Rangers did in the second half of that game.
