Feel horrible for McMann, that was some BS. Totally deflated the team too. Also, why in 2023 do we need Simmonds on the roster? Good guy and all but he cannot play NHL hockey anymore and is a liability at this point with his penalties.

Bob McKenzie saying the Leafs benefited from that same rule against New Jersey. The one thing he forgot was the Devils player kicked the puck into the net with his own skate. McMann kicked the puck off the Detroit players skate and it happened to go in the net.

Totally agree what a joke. We’ve seen way more egregious kicks towards the net count when they relaxed the rule a few years ago.

Grey market stores I understand, we had them with weed before it was legal and they’re usually out of the way at least. Different ballgame giving random people on the street free samples in broad daylight in the middle of downtown without security or anyone checking IDs.

What an absolute stupid call to negate the goal. He didn’t kick the puck towards the net, he actually kicked it away from the net and it hit the defenceman’s skate towards the net. Use some judgment to make the right call dammit.
Rielly with another poor first period defensively. What a mess he is defensively and he offers nothing at all offensively. For an offensively skilled dman who pinches a lot and plays the PP, he has ZERO goals. What a disappointment.
Another thing, why the hell is Simmonds on this team and playing a freakin game for the second time in three games? No speed, no hits, no IQ, just a nothing.
