I honestly think it's a coaching strategy/team philosophy. They're told not to fight or rough it up. No other explanation for Simmonds and Clifford's immasculation.

This is what I think too. They come into the team and are physical and fight but after a little bit of time on the team they stop hitting and fighting.
They must be told to calm down and if that's the case then management is pathetic

Delayed penalty and Holl slowly handles the puck, passes to Marner who curls around to set up and then pass to JT to automatically lose possession this killing almost a minute off the clock. They suck.
