(perhaps to a player that doesnt have the reputation of being obnoxious on the ice, and was complaining to the refs all game, which seems to me to be the more likely explanation for the booing)

You were pretty right about him, and I was pretty wrong, I'll give you that. Still think his cycle game is better than the stats are showing, but yeah, that's pretty bad, he's not a useful player in the slightest.
