In purgatory
Just a much better effort in terms of work rate, simplifying things and taking straight routes to the net. Sometimes it really feels like they're just waiting on the two top guys to pull something out of their bag of tricks. This was much more of a playoff style type of game, which they need, really need to remember.

Good to see Arvidsson and Hyman get goals, and Podkolzin with the fine effort tonight on the top line. Solid, reliable saves by Pickard and even Nurse had a great heads up pass to send Hyman in alone for his 1st.

*edit* Should note Philp as well looking comfortable for the most part on that 4th. Hope he stays up and they platoon Perry / Ryan, even though both those guys have not been issues thus far.

Nuge is still mightily struggling is a cause for concern. Hyman has been playing well just snake bit, nice to see him score. But like Nuge might not even be one of our top 12 skaters at the moment. I don’t know what happened to him.
He might look like a baby face still but in reality he’s older than Old Man Bouchard

He'll be fine. Not a driver, never was. Too smart of a player not get out of his slump.

Another great game by Drai. Superstar efforts in last 2/3 games by him.

Never knew Podz could punch like that. Saw nothing prior to indicate he had that punch. Good for him and if he's willing to slug for the team and continue physical play and boardwork I'll revise all my opinion of him.

Emberson similarly doing enough to be in the lineup I thought and willingness to fight as well.

Pickard fantastic and could have been a star.

Huge game for Hyman and he scored and also setup the last Drai goal.

Pickards fault my 5-2 prediction wasn't right. He's that good. He just robbed Marshassault.

Competition for the bottom 6 is healthy. Philip and Cagguila looked great. Leon is Leon. Good to see what this team can do when they get some saves. They’re good enough I think to play above .500 hockey with Mcdavid gone. Keep on trucking.

People mentioned how huge it is getting some legs in lineup. Philps was solid I thought. Cags was critical on one of the goals getting a good shot off setting up the rebound.

Perry too benefits from having some legs around. That way he doesn't have to skate for pucks as much and others can stretch to corners and leave Perry where he should be around net. Sublime goal by Perry, goal scorers goal, and he had another one but wanted to give Philps a goal instead. Nice touch by Perry tonight. Didn't work out but respect your game today.
