Nuge is still mightily struggling is a cause for concern. Hyman has been playing well just snake bit, nice to see him score. But like Nuge might not even be one of our top 12 skaters at the moment. I don’t know what happened to him.
I agree about Hyman, he’s been getting some chances he just doesn’t have quite the magic touch from last year. I felt the same about Arvidsson and he’s taking off now. Over a larger sample I’m sure Hyman will look better, just keep working for it

Sometimes just that first goal makes you grip the stick a little less tight. Can do wonders for confidence

I'll be a bit of a Debbie Downer by pointing out the obvious... they still haven't beaten a team that's currently in the upper two thirds of the league standings. All their wins vs bottom 10 teams right now,

The next 4 games should be a good test for the team. Play with the same emotion and sustained effort and they should win more than their fair share going forward.

Team is definitely a Jekyll & Hyde team and consistency is not their strength so far this year. With McDavid out... perfect chance to play with more emotion and develop chemistry as a team as everyone will have to play up to their full potential with the best player on the team out.

Nice team win.

Huge game by Leon. His stat line against the preds is ridiculous.

Hopefully this gets Hyman and Arvidson going a bit.

I really hope we run Pickard for a bit.

Philp should of never been sent down in the first place. Said it all offseason/preseason, both Perry and Ryan can’t be on this team.

Hopefully RNH and Henrique get going soon.

Don’t really understand why Stetcher keeps getting pulled. Feels like I routinely see the guy with a hard hat/belt on games we win, so seems like hes liked in the room? But Knoblauch or Coffey don’t seem to care for him.

Someone check the space time continuum.

Podz may have knocked Lauzon into next week. What a game from that young man.

Drai with his usual teabagging of the Preds. Great response game. Keep it going

The ESPN commentary is hilarious btw, they're like hyping up how big and tough Lauzon is and how they think Podkolzin is in trouble and then it's like Lauzon is out. 😂

I love how nonchalant Pod was about putting Lauzon down. Just heads to the box like nothing happened.

That was a great game and this is just what I was hoping for. The team bucked the f*** up without their captain, gutsy win. Just keep it up and when McDavid comes back they’ll be cooking. Also it’s a little less pressure for McDavid, dont rush back too soon.

Islands in the stream.

Nashville fans wonder if you're the best Leon! heh

Drai so kind in his comments about all the other players. So much leadership and supportive leadership in that way. Expands on all players making them feel part of things in his comments. Wow.

He did stand over him in the (you're knocked the f*** out" pose for a couple seconds. Poor Preds fans. beat silly in the game and back alley. Time to drink I guess.

Oh Stamkos Missing person alert. Has anybody seen him please contact your local Sheriff. Feel free to approach, he won't be dangerous.

Amazing game for Edmonton all around! 5 even strength goals without McD. Leon had his coming out party along with Arvidsson and Hyman. Podkolzin was a beast wow that fight.

Noah Philp is going to be a hell of a player. His hockey IQ is great and his size and speed. Great assist on the Perry goal and he almost got his own. He went 10/14 on faceoffs.

Great win!!! Keep Pickard in for next game

The boys bought their lunch pails and went to work right from the first shift. Leon reminds everyone why he's getting a raise next year, and a couple of our guys get their first of the season. Philp looked great out there, i hope they leave him in for a good long while. Podz Balboa dumping the trash. Picks was good. Just a real solid effort from top to bottom.

Love to see the bounce back. Now we just need to keep the momentum going.
