Nice goal by Kidney. PP is atrocious. They need to fix it.

A much better game by Dobes. He overplays at times, but he battled.

Good finish by Laval even if they lose 3-2.

That's what Dobes is. Exactly. A tenacious overplayer...lol. That to me is what will stop him from reaching the NHL. But he could be a serviceable AHL'er once he corrects himself a little more. I just don't believe he could totally stop doing what he does. He is what he is.

Question. Is Laval in rebuild too? Cause they sure suck big time too.

They are the 4th youngest team in the league or where when I looked it up, injuries to both teams have hurt bad, they are playing 5 games in 7 days this week (ends tomorrow)

In the AHL with so much turnover year to year but especially with a very young team it takes some time for them to adjust. If they look this bad in 4 weeks or so then that's a big problem for Hughes since Houle is in the last year of his contract and he'll need to make the right choice.

Goalies take a little while longer to hone their skills. Dobes still has time to improve.
