So How do the Canadiens acquire this top D man without sacrificing a Good player?

Bit misleading. If you listened to the clip, you'd understand that he meant that teams are looking for roster players in return for rentals. He uses the Hanzal situation as an example as Arizona already have plenty of prospects. Obviously they'll take picks/prospects if they can't get an established young player at the TDL.
