What a disappointment!

I'm happy with the fact they appointed a GM focusing on the AHL rather than MB pulling double duty. I'm not crazy that it's Larry Carrière who is the one at the helm. This means Nick Carrière will remain with the coaching staff, surely.

I do hope this is a 1 or 2 year deal with Lefebvre and not another 5-year extension.

This is impressively bad. Having a record below .500 when you're not even counting OTLs is pretty rare.

What a terrible, terrible coach.

This is just unbelievable, don't want pass judgement before July 10 or so, but this off season is not looking too good so far, losing Emelin, Beaulieu, Sergachev, and maybe Markov and Radulov, may be MB will have to come out of retirement to play defense

Two of the most incompetent people in the organization

Also looks super good for the nepotism angle that his criminally underqualified son is assistant coach and hes the GM of the team.

The off season is an official loss. No moves can counteract the damage this causes.

Wow...the crap keeps piling on. Just incredible. When is Nick Carrière going to be VP?

MB has repeatedly said that SL has done a great job in the AHL in his 5 years there but I've never heard him explain why. No current Habs roster player has graduated from the AHL under SL's watch. How can MB or anyone possibly defend that since that's SL's job?

For the people that will for sure say that SL had nothing to work with then it's time to look at the amateur scouting dept since there's a serious problem somewhere in this organization.

The Habs are a rudderless country club ship with absolutely no direction. Sigh..

"C'est pas facile pour lui avec toutes les injuries." Was the generic excuse used by Saint-Marc to explain Sly's (lack of) results.

Not supporting this move in any way (though we all knew it was coming, not sure why we're surprised).

That statement will no longer be true come October as McCarron, De la Rose, Hudon perhaps even Lernout are likely to be on the team. If not all of them, 2 or 3 of them.

Perhaps the Habs could use that on Lefebvre next press release when he's extended in 3yrs lol:laugh:

Problem is,how many players have you ever heard praise the Laval Rocket coaches??

You see it in other organizations....

Man i wish i knew MB or was a relative of a friend. I wouldnt be capable of the job but id be set for life.

Lets see if the "im done with MB if " shows up. Likely just another artificial timeline they keep giving MB

Saw it posted by a jets fan in response to the rumour that Alzner will be signing with winnipeg. Is relevant.

No kids ready for the NHL...but it's not Lefebvre's fault and Timmins is one of the best. If people are still convinced of Bergevin ability to judge talent after that....I don't know what to say.
