Nice to finally lay a good beating on the Isles after they've given the Leafs a few in the past. Also good to see Rielly playing better with Liljegren who continues to play like he's the Leafs number one Dman this season.

I love beating the Islanders but I am pretty sure the Leafs are 5-0-1 against them since Keefe became coach. The loss was this year in OT

Absolutely it was. But he brushed Nylander's performance off and basically said it was all because of Tavares.

Bowen - best in the business, miss him so much on the TV. I try to sync up the radio broadcast but it's not a constant delay, I have to adjust too much and ultimately becomes too distracting and just revert back to Cuthbert and the dreaded Simpson

Willy is incredible, just keeps getting better.

Making plays and getting lays. Lots of smile with his ultra athletic style.

He’s a clear cut above Murray at this point, better glove (to be fair I probably have a better glove than Murray), better laterally, less bad goals and not out 2-4 weeks because someone said ‘Hey Matty!’ and he turned his neck too fast.

Not to shit on what Murray has done, he’s been something between good and very good while Sammy oscillates between very good and excellent.

No issues running a platoon until the post season. You know, the post season? That thing after the Summer of Pierre Ottawa was supposed to make but won’t?

Barring injuries give Sammy 40, Murray 30 and let the third stringers like Kallgren and Woll handle the rest as we near and pass clinching, note Kallgren already has 10. Then give Sammy something like 2x4 in the off-season.

Missed the game but I'm glad to see Samsonov with another strong game .. 3 in a row plus the half game where he stepped in for Murray. Glad they're giving him some rope to play.

I wonder if Murray is a bit banged up so they're just riding the hot hand and letting Murray get rejuvenated.
