Good win. Really didn't like the first but after that they woke up. Nylander was fantastic. Nice to see Matthews get a snipe. Sammy continues to play well and Tavares had a good game.

Keep putting up the Ws at home. Next up is Rangers visiting on Wednesday. They've been playing well. Should be a good match up.

Nylander really slacked off in the third. Was expecting at least 5 points that period but... What can you do?

That first period was awful but they finished really strong. Samsonov had another really good start as well.

McMann, Holmberg and ZAR was a very strong 4th line. It's nice not to have a 4th line that gets caved. Holmberg didn't seem as good as he was pre-sickness since he made a few mistakes with the puck.

Nice to finally lay a good beating on the Isles after they've given the Leafs a few in the past. Also good to see Rielly playing better with Liljegren who continues to play like he's the Leafs number one Dman this season.

Word on the street is his mom came into his room to bring him a plate of chicken nuggets and he literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at him and he slammed the door on her.
