I wonder if 2 in 1 month gets treated differently. Or if he just comes back when he feels good. guess it needs to be confirmed first.

Indeed, I meant back to back nights which is normally hard and I don’t recall them doing that yet ? Or maybe they did it one other time in their 10 back to backs thus far?
Didn't like the 1st goal Hildeby gave up but after that he was absolutely FANTASTIC, his overall numbers still aren't great but the reality is he's still 3-1 and I think you take 3-1 record out of your 4th string goalie all day every day.
Matthews 5 points in 2 games, he's back.
It was nice to get a couple goals from the defense.
I think Nylander had a rough night, in fact I think he's had a couple rough nights recently.
At the end of the day they are 4 points up on Florida and that's what this weekend was about.
There is only 1 team left to catch in the eastern conference and that's Washington.
They COULD pass Washington as early as Tuesday although Washington does play Buffalo tomorrow and Buffalo is very VERY, EXTREMELY Buffalo so I don't think it happens Tuesday.
But the boys are RIGHT there and if they keep this up they can get there

I came here after watching the game on tape delay.
I hope the league reviews this but. we all know it's against the Leafs so nothing will happen.

Glad to get the win. Not super thrilled with our play, or Domi trying to throw the game with a braindead elbow, or losing our best defenseman this year because of a concussion from a stupid pointless fight.

Hopefully McCabe isn’t out long term. I get what Max was trying to do but that’s way too obvious by him. Tuesday should be interesting.

No I don't want to go with David Kampf as the #2 center until the deadline f*** that.
I like David Kampf but I like David Kampf as the #4 center but even then I do think they could get a #4 center as good or better then David Kampf for less then 2.4 million.

Aside from being 4 points up on Florida the crazy part is this.
Toronto 54 points
Florida 50 points
Boston 45 points
Tampa 42 points.
Tampa bay has 4 games in hand on Toronto, even if they won them all they would STILL be 4 points back.
this is why I say games in hand don't matter until they are won.

It was just bad luck. As a tough vet going up against Hath there wasn't some dramatic square up he just traded a few close punches and then tied it up - he's pretty capable in this arena. It should have been a nothing sequence.
I only watched the few replays but didn't see his head bounce off the ice. Thought he got hit funny at the end (by a knee?) and short circuited'd. If he went out on his head hitting the ice that ain't good.
