After you lose your second best DMan who defended the honour of his goalie, this is the type of physical, grinding, character battle you want to see. Two playoff type games without a days rest. Imperfect but the will to find a way to win was there. I give them a slight, approving nod.
A better angle, I hadn't seen the original play but the earlier 'highlite' suggested skate to me. This shows it as the knee. Intentional? Likely, but in the heat of the moment...I think worthy of a review by player safety.
That's not a knee to the head, it's a knee to the chest and a skate to the balls. McCabe's head clearly already hit the ice before that.
It looks like a nasty concussion and stupid that it came to that, McCabe should have just sat on Hathaway since refs seem to allow that more often than not.
It's the mindset and grittiness that stand out to me. Never in a panic. Always in control of what we are doing. And we just keep going and going. The guys brought in this offseason have helped out massively.
We only do back to backs as well.

We have 4 more games played than TB atm so if they win those games they are only like 2 or 4 points behind us. You're right about Boston but TB we still need to watch out for and Florida too.

I think you gotta ride these guys at least another game. Not too, too much longer though as you kind of need the bench guys to get some time at some point.

None of them are going to catch the Leafs. I think by the end of the season the Leafs will win the division by 7-10 points. I expect that they will also catch Washington to win the conference, but Washington doesn't look like they are going to fold anytime soon.

Editorinleaf shows the great thing about the internet and the downside. The great thing is it shows anyone can start a site/blog about anything and possibly make a career of it. The bad side is the same exact thing because some of these people should not have careers doing this when they have no idea what they are even covering.Benoit stepped up big. The Dubas fan boys at Editor in Leaf can suck it.

It is possible. The fact they are 1st now even dealing with so many injuries to key players is pretty impressive, but we all know this team can choke the division lead and Florida and TB can also get very hot.

You don't see the panic. Not tonight, but with the lead in the third we stick to the game and don't stop attacking. Last year we won our share but didn't close out well to me.

You play all tournament a normal 5v5 format, then in the gold medal game, you hit overtime and go directly to 3 on 3.
