Glad we got the win tonight but we have to stop blowing leads

This one hit different, they didn’t back down their pressure and collapse in the third. They limited the Ducks chances and Anaheim got a lucky tip in front to tie.

Campbell could have made the big save to keep in 3–1 but he was fine otherwise

Phew..they certainly deserved the win..Gibson was amazing and also a little lucky. Everyone was jumping on Campbell but 2 of those goals are not really on him. Leafs need to be better defensively as well and need to cut down on straight up dumb plays

Also I think we can say

Mitchell Marner has arrived

he just got lost in customs so he couldn’t get here quick enough

Bit of a strange game. controlled most of it kinda sorta, but it never felt over... Ducks had very few chances but managed to tie it up off some poor defensive play (on both goals). Gibson was very good. Campbell was very average.

PP was moving the puck around well, nice to see Marner become a shooting option, needs to continue that. PK was tight.

Roll with those lines again on Saturday; I liked injecting a few extra minutes for Nylander.. but man Kase needs to play more, that guy's speed is outright outrageous!

Campbell's bailed out the leafs like 10 times this year. I'm glad the rest of the team is paying him back.

Best case scenario anyways. If Campbell has a Vezina caliber year, we simply can' afford him.

We need to win more games where he has crap stats

Great performance. Gibson almost matched it and you need Jack to make another save but good game by the whole team. This one would have been a frustrating one to lose but good we prevailed in the shootout.
Not much to complain. Team was terrific and the other goalie nearly stole it.

Dominance... But we have to stop blowing these leads.

On another note, major props to John Gibson. You could have convinced me that prime Martin Brodeur was in net tonight.
In this case I think you just tip your hat to Gibby
Easily could have been a double digit game for us
