I think Murray bounces back the next game he plays, however, it's a bit of a crapshoot after that on whether he can sustain that play for a few more games after that.

Shout out to Bobby M and ZAR and Hunt and Bunts … for all you smoothies out there , our pushback and hard play and physicality out there is what turned it around for us and our elite finished off ..
Hockey is actually simple
Elite play hard and compete and score
And our honest hard working with a bite do their thing and pitch in once in a while especially in the playoffs .
When these two vital elements of the game come together everyone plays bigger abd especially the elite .
More room , more confidence and security more points when it counts ..

Samsonov was the unsung hero tonight coming into net and shutting down the Panthers .. only 11 shots but there were at least two 10-bell saves that allowed the Leafs to win this one.

I think that's been the pattern. A stinker then 1 or 2 good performances. He's perplexing.

Maurice always came across as such a totally fake coach. His teams were always disorganized and talked a great press conference. I bet he's such a board room charmer through, you don't stay in the league this long, do absolutely nothing and someone still thinks you're a good idea for head coach.

I know the stat line wasn't great for Murray, but I don't think it was all on him.

I'm so glad Samsonov bailed him out (with some awesome saves).

Team seemed to really step it up too after the sequence where Matthews' was cross checking and Bunting flew in, and then ZAR stood up against Gudas eventually drawing that penalty
