I am usually more optimistic about this team than anyone else, but no one should take anything positive from coming back to beat a bottom-feeder team, even if it is Montreal. Leafs fans should have higher standards.

Willy and McMann were amazing.
Woll was elite even in the first period as he kept the Leafs in the game all night despite letting in 3 goals.
OEL played with more urgency in the Ozone and wish he will continue.

Reilly needs to wake the F up, he is a lot better than that.

Look, I'm the bozo who said the Leafs would win when it was 3-0, and even I don't think this game means anything. It keeps them well ahead of Florida. That's important, but that's all this game means.

To highlight the point, the Leafs scored 6 goals against Buffalo in a game in December. Did that wake the offense up? The reality is that the offense is fine.
