Man, did the Habs ever need to be knocked down a peg. I am glad we were the ones to do it. Hopefully it derails whatever they've had going since December.

Xhekaj's idiotic point to the scoreboard is emblematic of that: Who is dumb enough to do that in the 1st period? 7 unanswered goals later...

Finally... Craig Simpson was out right cheering for the Habs tonight. Really sucks that this oaf continues to be one of our main colour announcers.

This is exactly the kind of thing this Leafs team has done in prior seasons. Take a period off in a meaningless game in January, and then overwhelm the opposition with its talent. I am usually more optimistic about this team than anyone else, but no one should take anything positive from coming back to beat a bottom-feeder team, even if it is Montreal. Leafs fans should have higher standards.
True true. But, f*** the Habs man.

lol the toilet seat fans and usual Leaf haters were talking so much crap on the main boards at 2 and 3 - 0. Got kinda quiet after.

lol how do you lose by 4 goals in a game you were winning 3-0.

Ok, I was hard on Woll the last two, but that was a clinic to finish the game.

Still not happy that they have to dig themselves out, but better than losing to the Habs in Montreal on a Saturday night.
I have been hard on Woll recently as well, but I will give home credit for the 2nd and 3rd period tonight. He was terrific.

their replay guy or they has been terrible all year

Even if it did hit the side of the net, I want to see if he had it covered as he got back!

Why were replays better when Cole and Neale were on the mics? Tech is so much better now. Theres no excuse other than morons in charge in that department now.

Willy and McMann were amazing.
Woll was elite even in the first period as he kept the Leafs in the game all night despite letting in 3 goals.
OEL played with more urgency in the Ozone and wish he will continue.

Reilly needs to wake the F up, he is a lot better than that.

Domi needs to stop day dreaming esp in the Dzone.

Domi looked like complete ass tonight lol.

Seriously, he played like he was drunk. Guy kept falling and losing the puck.

At this point, I'm hoping TOR gets an upgrade at 3C and moves him to the wing. Hopefully he'll be better there.

Yo know you are wrong. Beating a divisional rival is always a big thing. Especially when this group has had a tough time against such teams and the last playoff series was a disaster

The positive to take away is the offence is waking up

All year they struggled to score, regardless of opponent
The offense woke up against one of the worst defensive teams in the league in a game in mid-January? I don't think this is something to celebrate.

It's been silent all season. Regardless of who it wakes up against, the fact that it has is a good thing

Now they just need to keep it up

They beat Montreal a bunch of times last season, too. Did that impact what happened in May?

Look, I'm the bozo who said the Leafs would win when it was 3-0, and even I don't think this game means anything. It keeps them well ahead of Florida. That's important, but that's all this game means.

To highlight the point, the Leafs scored 6 goals against Buffalo in a game in December. Did that wake the offense up? The reality is that the offense is fine.

woll was great, made saves when needed

team gave him goal support, meaning one mistake wasn't the margin.
