not be a downer here, but Bertuzzi man, wake up!

He's been very bad so far.
He's always behind the play and when he does have the puck he's been making some questionable decisions.
He needs to start playing better because right now he's essentially just 5M in wasted cap space.

I see how everyone forgot how much they ragged on Keefe for starting Matthews/Marner, Nylander/Tavares last year. Then he started Kamph, they won 2 games in a row and everyone was delighted.

Now he starts Kamph, they lose ans suddenly he is an idiot again.

Par for the course.

This is the infuriating thing with this team...

When they choose to bring it, they are more or less unstoppable.

Goaltending was a joke in the first, but the skaters effort was at least 5 times better in the second and third... having that effort in the first would have cut off some of those freebee changes against earlier in the game.

But man, where is Samsonov's head? His confidence is non-existent. He will have to play one of the back-to-backs later in the week, but other than that he needs to be on clipboard duty!

The good news is that the core 4 are Uber-elite. Matthews and Marner have been otherworldly the last 2 games. Knies and Robertson also had really good games today. Knies in particular looked very bit the part of a 1LW today. The goaltending and D is still a biiiiiggg problem though. We need Sammy to wake the f*** up any day now.

If some people aren't pissing and moaning about something, they aren't happy.

Robertson has a good shot but also playmaking ability. Never quits and skates hard. Just needs to stay healthy
I believe that was the most effective I have seen Nick at the NHL level. He was doing everything! Hard on the forecheck. Winning puck battles. Making passes. Shooting. Getting back on defence. If he can bring that most nights, he has won me over!!
