Regardless, WPG was 8-0 and was the best or "top team" in the league if you prefer. It's very Leafy of us to win this game. And equally Leafy to lose to some bottom feeder, and break some streak.

Timmins is worse this year. I thought he was pretty decent last year, and hoped he would get more reps so we can give him a proper chance. Despite being high on him, I can't help but feel disappointed. Hopefully this is all smoke by Tre to showcase Timmins for a trade and get Lilly back in.
Timmins has been great this year. He was fine at times last season but he'd make too many dumb mistakes that would cost the team or put everyone else in a bad spot. He's limited those mistakes this year and has done what you want a 3rd pairing offensive guy to do.

Leafs played good enough, almost a must win situation for them. The only thing is that the Jets played arguably they're worst game in 2 years and still came back to almost tie it.

I think the Leafs will tighten up as they get used to Berube though and be at least as good as last year. Dangerous team when playing the right way.
