The Leafs are right against the cap and can’t call anyone up.. it’ll be the same lineup Thursday.

This version of the Leafs is very comfortable in playing scoreless hockey late into games because they know they have an advantage in goal and in game breakers. I like this team’s low risk approach much better in tight playoff hockey games. They’ve definitely bought in to Berube’s defense first system.

Winning the division was more important to them than the other two teams. Not coming up short again is a big accomplishment for their psyche. Sets up a less than ideal first round , but that’s not in their control.

Stolarz is the steal of the season. I don't recall a bad game or many bad goals. Sorry Mitch, this guy @ $2.5m is the team MVP.

Sammy out and Stolarz in won them the Atlantic IMO. Tanev helps big time but Stolarz, you are da' man.

I had a heavy duty seniors moment yesterday .. waiting for a buddy at Go Train at Clarkson I almost got on da downtown train .. he returns my call as train is rolling in and says I thought you were picking me up and we were driving to buffalo for leaf game .. omg my brain completely disconnected as normal routine is da train downtown .. anyhow had to skip da Anchor Bar this year due to my screw up .. and got to game 5 minutes late too .. on to game omg what a tender we got holy moly what a goalie .. i feel better than ever about Stolly leading team into battle of ontario .. and tanev and benoit they were outstanding last night .. congrats to Mitch on 100 - so hard to accomplish an amazing feat .. but da way team grinded out that game is very impressive .. i have not seen this type of play late season ever from this core .. makes me excited for a different result from this group .. like i always say it will come down to Stolly, Tanev, OEL, McCabe, Carlo, Benoit and Rielly .. GLG

Yea maybe he is. I said Tanev a while back but Stolly's been so good lately that I think I'd say him now as well.

Maybe we can just say that Stolly's been our best player this season, Tanev's been our best Dman and Marner's been our best forward. Let's hope they can all stay healthy, and keep up their level of play for two more months!

Agreed. I'd also put Woll in that group because while we might not need him, you never know.

I thought it was more having to with being fed up with losing. They have been playing better lately, but they are simply terrible.
