I was thinking earlier what if we get Konecny if his injury isn't too serious. Him and Bunting on a line together would be hilarious/ a nightmare for other teams.

Konecny would be an awesome addition. He could annoy Matthews on daily basis.

Excellent. Fast, well played. Loved the way the Leafs shut down the game in the last three minutes. Didn't play on their heels at all. The flames were lucky to even able to pull their goalie. Also the BRICK WOLL played very well. Impressive. Let's see what happens to tomorrow.

Yup I really want to see a depth lineup. Try and make a shutdown line with O'Reilly while keeping our skill guys free

I think Willie blow the zone a bit too often to pair with ROR.

Glad to see Woll looking good. He’s showed up every time, and it’s good to see. Very calm and efficient in his movements.

Looked out of synch in the first, with a lot of flubbed passes but they settled and played an up tempo game the rest of the way.

I didn’t see the need for Schenn, but like I have since we got Gio, I’m good to eat crow on Schenn too. It does feel good to see a guy done wrong the 1st time with the Leafs still love the team and want to be here. Definitely someone that can be a feel good story to cheer for.

Thank goodness the TDL is over tomorrow and these guys can get their heads screwed back on right and settle down to business the rest of the way.

Wow, fun watching the Leafs to tonight. 1st was meh but that Marner goal was amazing. Literally half the stadium was Leafs fan, such a great atmosphere. Good solid comeback win.

Tavares did look like he had a piano on his back though.

And they got away with making some atrocious giveaways in their own zone earlier in the game.

But they were the better team the last 30 minutes.

I would love to see Woll get half the game here on out. He’s been good when called upon. That Kadri goal was bad but we can pretend it never happened.

That’s the kind of game I was expecting last night. Defensive awareness we haven’t since November. Great games by Marner, Woll, and Kerfoot. Solid game by virtually everyone else Let’s see what this team can accomplish a few weeks from now once they’ve practiced and gelled together.
