Marner had a great game, but, those 2 back passes in his own end in the last 5 minutes nearly cost the team.

He can’t be doing that come playoff time

The good is that we won and 3rd period was great. The bad is that this coach hasn't learned anything based on those last 4-5 minutes as he went to those stupid lines again.

Only saw the third period but the physicality and "hard to play against" nature of the new acquisitions started to shine through with their strong defensive play .. So much puck support and good sticks

Guys like Jarnkrok and Kerfoot can do well when they have linemates who play a speedy physical game

What a beautiful 3rd period. Gave them absolutely nothing.

Woll with another good game. He has earned more starts.

Solid solid third period. Just very well played. Nice game for Woll, a bit unsteady at first, better as the game went along. Kerfoot and Holl with good games, Marner was electrifying. On to the next game.

Leafs played a very good road game especially in the second half of the game.

I thought McCabe had a great game and that pairing was strong all night and managed the puck well.

Marner and Matthews were all over the place combining for 16 shots on goal.

Kerfoot and Lafferty also had decent games.

Very good bounce back game.

That was a fairly shaky first half but they gutted out an ugly road win.

Man, Luke Schenn after all these years... Bringing a play style we sorely missed. Feels good that he wanted to come back so badly.

- Woll was great, looked uncomfortable to start but he played great once he got into a groove
- McCabe - Brodie is a DOMINANT pair. I loved their game tonight, hope they stay together
- I like the ROR - Kerfoot combination. Both are defensively responsible, and Kerfoot can carry the puck on the line
- Mitch Marner is an unreal talent. Selke level
