If that's the case than do an actual rotation. Sitting Lilly 3 times in a row when he's been better than either Holl or Dermott is wrong.

He'll play tomorrow. The other guys are playing great. And Lilly made some mistakes last time that I think the coaches want him to think about a bit.

It's honestly bullshit. Management should just trade someone already and stop screwing around
We keep hearing from experts that Leafs believe Liljegren has turned himself into an every day role, so when the team gets healthy and they have to make a move, that will tell us for sure. They can either send Liljegren down or do something else. If it's former, well then we have issues.

Either way a decision is coming pretty soon.

Liljegren potentially sitting 3 games in a row is too much.
Because the team is rolling as they are, it's hard to be really be mad with any decision, but Holl has been the worst Leafs player on the ice each of the last three games. I'm curious to see how Muzzin-Liljegren looks over a larger sample, especially now that Muzzin has found his game.

Still, rare Saturday night off for me so looking forward to the game! Kaprizov is my second favourite non-Leafs player behind McDavid, he's electric to watch. Let's keep the winning streak alive GLG!

They could just waive Ritchie.

If somebody picks him up then no big loss and we have lots of cap to work with. If nobody picks him up then we keep him as Marlies depth and have enough cap to keep everyone else up.

That has been needed for a while and now is the time to do it.
I brought it up a week or so ago and surprisingly it did not go over well with some of the regulars.
I'm sure once it inevitably happens it will be praised.
How they're handing the defense is a bit curious.

I'd love to see a Muzzin-Liljegren pair get some play. I think it could be incredibly successful.

I wonder if something around Ritchie for Roslovic would be intriguing for either side.

Since Holl came back in the lineup 11gms ago the Leafs are 1st in GAA and 1st in xGAA. Literally the best defense in hockey by any measure.

Also 1st in GAA at 5th in xGAA at 5v5.

With of course the muzz-holl pair doing the heaviest defensive lifting at all strengths.

Not a huge fan of Roz tbh but anyways I don't think their GM is the kind of guy that would want Ritchie. But I could be wrong.

Definitely the right type of idea though.

Maybe even expand the deal a little to move out some more money and create space for the deadline.

Ritchie + Engvall to Columbus

Roslovic + mid round pick to Toronto

Opens up space for Mikheyev's return. Allows the Leafs to get Anderson/Steeves/JHS some looks before the deadline. I'm pretty sure Roslovic and Matthews had some pretty great chemistry at the NTDP (then again, I'm sure most players have good chemistry when playing with players of Matthews talent).

Sandin is a food critic and LOL at Dubas at the end there "I am not gonna eat 3" and he does

Man, I'm agreeing with Dubas on everything as of late. Even his Tim-biebs rating match mine perfectly (birthday cake the best, chocolate white fudge the worst).

Rest them all. It's December. I know we're on a run and want to keep it going, but this is meaningless stuff. Let them heal up instead of push through things and have nagging injuries the rest of the season. All that matters is we make the playoffs and are healthy at the start.

Not a terrible idea. I'd like to see them get Muzzin some rest as the season moves on as well. No need to burn anyone out. Especially if they can make some moves that lets them carry a 22-man roster.
