They got swept by the Habs last year and they have a better roster than before. Habs will outwork us and that can lead to trouble. Leafs need to be ready to work is all I am saying or it will get ugly. Price will be much better tonight.

You know this is not the first time we play them this year. You're talking as if they beat us every game last year and got even better since, so we have no chance of beating them.

Newsflash, last year doesn't matter and as much as they have improved, we are 2-0 with them.

That said, we have to play hard and take them seriously like any other team.

Babcock was a total f***tard. He would play Andersen against teams like Arizona from the West and then leave Hutch for the Habs, Bruins etc. Made no god damn sense at all.

I hope he gets a coaching job in our division or conference soon. Would love to beat his team.
He's working for ESPN or one of the American sport stations

Yup. He's been playing like it but super cool to hear that it's because he's making a point of doing so. This is basically my dream come true, just another step on the way to becoming all he can be and that my friends, is a very scary thought for the rest of the league because if Matthews becomes all he can be (and he's close to being that already IMO) then he will be one of the greatest (like top 10) players in NHL history.

Any lineup changes tonight from last game?

Interesting to see who goes tonight on D between Dermott/Lehtonen.

Was reading earlier that in his 10 games so far this year, Dermott has only been on the ice for 1 goal against.

Not sure what to expect.. On one hand Montreal seems to be hitting a slide and are very beatable especially with the Leafs playing well. On the other, the Leafs can't win every game and Montreal could come out strong after getting shut out

Montreal def gonna come out with some anger tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if they win.

I just hope this board doesn't panic if they do end up losing.

We’re going to be 20 points up on Montreal near the end of the season and the media will still be debating which team is better. The love affair with that team is truly nonsensical... at some point you’ve gotta think people will remember that having top end talent is actually important for success?

If I've learned anything from the pundits, it's that stars will get it done in the regular season, but if you want to have success in the playoffs, you need to have an entire forward corps who can't score

I'm just so happy that we have hockey to watch. It's Saturday night, we're playing the hated Habs, our record rocks and I couldn't be happier!

GLG!!

All this waiting.

Let's goooo

Habs GDT is hilarious. Most of them want their coach fired even though he's gotten fantastic underlying numbers out of that group without any elite talent.
Their biggest problem may just be that they don't play Vancouver every night.
