Campbell made a dumb play in the 1st and that goal is on him. However he's made 2 or 3 saves since that we usually hear, "no chance", for Andersen.

Here's to hoping he can remain solid in the 3rd and solid for the rest of the season.

no there really isn’t. He looks completely fine, he’s getting no puck luck and that’s it. People on here are saying oh his shot does look as fast ect, the pass from Rielly was good but it was bobbling, no way he was getting that shot off in time even without the wrist injury. He’s getting chances but things aren’t going his way like they were when he was scoring two a game. That is the game of hockey. Players go through ups and downs, it’s completely normal
Don’t agree at all. I’m not even being critical, but to me it’s obvious something is off. That’s doesn’t mean he doesn’t contribute, he’s too good not to and he’s trying out there.

I think the leafs can make the playoffs without Matthews but I know they can't win the cup without a healthy Matthews. I worry too it could be one of those nagging injuries but he needs some time off, perhaps including practice.
I wonder what the injury really is.
Any docs on this forum?
Ligament?
Bone?
Healing time?

I’m worried this thing doesn’t go away. We had the break twice and it’s still an issue obviously. I mean he’s still good because he’s unreal, but he’s disjointed and tentative.

There's no two ways about it, if Matthews isn't a one shot scoring threat, the entire complexion of our offense changes, and if John Tavares' 50 goal form continues to be a fading memory, it could get ugly.

Disagree.
He’s not going to his usual spots where he shoots from.
Like to the net instead of the high slot.

We’ve seen the highs and lows of this team. They can lose to an EBUG and shutout the future Stanley Cup champion in the same week.
But to say we’ve seen this team dominate the opposition and lose due to the goaltending is a straight up lie.
