Stick directly in the midline. Clear hooking by what refs seem to call all the time

There's no way the officials would say "you wouldn't have done that without the pending penalty" though. They made a legal play that's legal in any situation and it's not the officials job to read minds. Maybe they're Patrick Roy and likes to pull their goalies down 2 with 10 minutes left.
