Not the best period but I still think we were the better team. One PP said zero shots but that was a Marner post and a grade A shot by Matthews that just missed. Add in Willy's partial breakaway and it feels like we're starting to impose our will tonight.

Interesting fact pointed out by Cuthbert. Oilers powerplay opportunities have gone way down in the last 10? games. That pretty much coincides with McDavid's public complaints doesn't it? Funny how that works...but of course, NHL referees would never take that personally and punish a team for speaking out, would they? Why that would be unprofessional!
