Leafs are essentially Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares and Reily. Rest of the players are extremely average and their defence is downright awful

Bertuzzi and Domi aren’t providing anywhere near enough secondary offence. Half of the D-corps is old and/or useless. Goaltending is a patchwork until Woll returns. Messy messy messy.

TheWave senior told me that the Nylander contract would likely cause some level of animosity in the room with the young guys that we are trying to develop. He’s a rookie not used to the NHL grind playing in the top 6, if the team was able to have depth, he would be on the 3rd line.
