Soft? Young defensive play. Got caught in between what to do. Tough play on the bouncing puck and froze and did nothing. Poor play. Not soft.

Hopefully by next year, he takes a step to the inside and closes off the gap
You say the play was not soft but then say he needs to close the gap. Which is it?

And where was Sandin, again?

Yeah, Chara is great

It's great that he's allowed to commit an uncalled penalty on every f***ing shit

Feels like that time again where someone says “does Tavares look slower this year” lol.

That Engvall goal at the end....

I think Mrazek will be here, we won't be able to afford Soup. Someone (Edmonton) will overpay him.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens but I think they will pay Campbell enough to make him stay, plus I think Campbell wants to be here. Plus we need picks so I think they’ll move Mrazek. If they move Mrazek they can afford him easily. The bottom six will have to be filled with ELC’s. So we’ll have to graduate Robertson, Anderson, Steeves. They’ll have to get creative

to me this isn’t an isolated event, this has been the same mistakes he’s made all season. Except he’s no longer making them against weaker competition on the opposing team, it’s against more skilled forwards because of injury and it’s costing the team.

I agree that he needs more time to develop, but I’m just not seeing this top 4 potential

I think Liljegren has looked fine for most of the time he's played. I don't know if he'll end up being a good/great or average Dman, but I'd like to see him get at least 100 games if not 200 playing consistently before deciding that he isn't even good enough to be a top 4 guy.

He's had 35 NHL games the past 3 seasons. Hard to get use to playing in the NHL when you're in and out of the lineup so much for 3 years. Lets hope he can get a consistent spot on the team with some decent minutes and then see how he does for a sustained period before declaring he's not good enough.
