Not going to dump on Liljegren there. Puck was in a weird place and Parise made a nice play. Just keep him playing, learning and giving him more experience. If he reaches Dermott level of games and hasn't improved then I'll be worried.

to me this isn’t an isolated event, this has been the same mistakes he’s made all season. Except he’s no longer making them against weaker competition on the opposing team, it’s against more skilled forwards because of injury and it’s costing the team.

I agree that he needs more time to develop, but I’m just not seeing this top 4 potential

Yeah I don’t think it’s something long term, I’d prefer him on line 3 and Engvall on the 4th. The third line is just clicking so well at the moment I wouldn’t want to change it up. See if Spezza/Kase have some chemistry so you have options if necessary

Qualifying offer is 1.25m, 1.35m is where a 3rd round pick is compensated for an offer sheet which are pretty rare to begin with.

I think they'll retain him within that range which looks great

After this period a few things are clear. Those bottom 4 dmen for us are scary. Liljgren and Sandin are too green, too soft. Dermott has been awful. Mrazek can’t be blamed for that goal but it’s an adventure in that net.

Oh, and those fans are the least likeable in the league…let it go, it’s been three years.
