Good timing for this matchup I think. The team just played two excellent defensive games and will need that type of effort vs the Jets. We own them a good effort based on the last lame ass game we played vs them.
If Campbell can go, things look good. If Hutch has to play I am not confident in a win despite what I expect to be an excellent effort.

I am aiming modest, 3 out of 4 would be nice. Leafs can not let Helle stone them again to the point where they can't even get a tie in regulation. They have to get points out of this 2 game set.

They have the best goalie in the division and opportunistic forwards.
Overall, I think we have outplayed them thoroughly so far in the season series, but once again, we will need solid goaltending to get results.

Winnipeg's defensive problems go beyond their defensemen. Scheifele, Connor, Wheeler, all bad. There's a reason they routinely get outchanced.

Hope you are right. What I saw was that they were able to bury their chances while Helly saved ours. Probably had a little to do with Andy playing hurt. This series with the Jets will tell us something about this team. They answered the bell in Edmonton. They need to answer the bell in Winnipeg.

Campbell didn't practice today. So there's a chance Hutch will start.
As much as I like Campbell, taking a week or two off to heal after every game is not sustainable.

im not too worried about winning any single game. if we continue to dominate teams, i can settle for that. we’re playing good skilled hockey and showing the signs that we can be a force unlike previous seasons.

Leafs gotta get out of there head. Leafs need to neutralize rush chances and that is most of what wpg does. On the offensive end just finish. We're gonna get a lot for chances just gotta bury them. Keep attacking in waves.

If we lose tomorrow it will be 7 wins and 7 losses for March. Thats 25% of a 56 game season and its .500 hockey for the last month. Laugh all you like. They are a .500 team for a entire last month. Thats pretty declining after the easy first part. Soft teams get out played when she’s grind time dude. I hope it’s over with but i doubt two injured goalies are helping us any

Lay a few open ice hits on them driving the middle. They will come right up the middle. Who is goung to fill them in. This is a Dubas skill no grit team that won’t scare them off the middle. Thats whete they will come anyways

We dominate possession so it shouldn't be too surprising.
Surprised Winnipeg does not have significantly more penalties though. Iffy defense, terrible in possession, not particularly fast, and a team that has some guys who don't mind playing on the edge a bit.
We've actually outplayed teams by wider margins in some of those losses than we have in some of our wins this year.
goaltending was a huge difference during that 1-6 run. We were still playing pretty good.

Ridiculous indeed. I guess it was only a month ago or so when this kind of slump was unthinkable. It's gotten to the point where it's almost surreal now.
