He's 7th in sv% among 16 goalies who have played over 6000 minutes since the start of 2018-19. That's pretty much exactly middle of the pack. 6th is GSAA. He's pretty much what we pay for.

Do I wish he was better, yes. But, expecting Campbell to walk in and play 55 games and not become the next scape goat seems like a reach.

Not sure what the advanced stats say, but Willy has been the best Leaf tonight as far as my eye test goes. Constantly moving, stick lifting, and has set up 5-10 grade A chances. Unfortunately, this is the part that frustrates all of us when Willy is off his game, knowing there is this level to his play
