Winners don't win with Andersen in net. The Leafs won't win a playoff series with him. I'd love to be wrong this season, but come playoffs it'll likely just be same old same old.

Well there was the Horseshoe moment when he was down and out and the Jets missed a wide open net. Afterall Hutch gets criticised for letting pucks hit the goal posts. We all know there were many posters chirping he was lucky.

What goes on here is, we all have favourites and when we see them get dissed naturally we remember and give it back when the opportunity arises. No different than the mainboards really, just in an internal situation.

I hear that every tipped shot goes in. They are impossible for goalies to stop.

Very rarely do you see whatever it was Matthews was trying to do when deflecting the puck into his own net. Freddy was probably pissing himself.

can someone explain to me why Keefe changed the D pairings up? Swaps the 2 pairs and both don't have any chemistry and both sets of D get hemmed in their zone shift after shift due to lack of knowing where to pass it.

Holl and Muzzin have looked really bad together. I don't think there's much more to it.

also terrible stick position on Freddy for the Connors goal. No need to have a gap there should have been tight to the goalpost and the he knows the puck has to come out to his left so he can play that.

That’s just fiction come on. That goal is horrible coverage, you’re blaming him for a behind the net thread pass.

There is plenty to criticize Fred about, I’m shakey with him going into the playoffs too so I get it, but some of this stuff is just imagination looking for a victim.

I don't know if Campbell can consistently put up starter numbers, but it's nice to see him be the better goalie when he's in.

The team plays alot less confident with Andersen in net.

People don't like to hear the breakdown of goals, they just look at the score and immediately blame Andersen. It's kinda silly. Goals 2 and 3 from the Jets were horrendous plays in front of him. I guess it's just easier to blame him vs holding other players accountable.

Or criticize the breakdowns, while understanding the goalies job is to cover mistakes. Not all, but enough to keep up with the abilities of the team and the quality of opportunities allowed.

Umm, any shot that is actually deflected within 10 to 15 feet of the net is dangerous. Regardless of how metrics quantify them.

Mikheyev sure seems to miss glorious chances a lot with the other team scoring shortly after.

Happened already twice this year

Loss to flames and Loss to Nucks(1st one) he missed glorious chances and they scored in same shift

He ends up killing momentuem with his inability to finish plays
