Andersen is better than Hutch.

It's not like Andersen is suddenly an AHL goalie, I think we're all just accepting that he probably can't take us to the promised land. A few of us have been wondering this for a while.

I am really curious if Campbell can have a Cinderella run, though. He seemed incredibly quiet and solid this year and last. Freddie probably more athletic but he's been all over the net in the last 60 or so games.

A week ago we were up on Oilers by 8 points after sweeping them. Now after losing three in a row and them on a winning streak they’re back by 4. Getting to the point where “good effort” isn’t safe anymore.

Has to be Fred tonight and I am thinking he has a strong game. Maybe being a little pissed off will help inspire him. Hoping the rest of the team is fired up as well, we can’t handle another loss at this point...

It seems 90% of the fanbase believes it would be.

Hutch has a long way to go before he gains that kind of trust in me.

Campbell has looked stellar in the games he's played. I'd love to see him play alot of games to see if he could be a number 1.

Until that happens Andersen is our boy. We can't get rid of Freddie until we have a replacement.

And Campbell > Hutchinson.

Taking a long term view. I'm happy the division is tightening up a bit, we were about to lap the field and I was concerned about keeping sharp, it's inevitable you lose some hunger. I say this every year, but at the start of the season if I said we would go through a dry patch, people would say "of course", so why are we over reacting? Last week at this time HF was the most optimistic and positive I've ever seen, so lets just relax, we have an awesome team, I still believe the best in a lllooonnng time, we will rebound. I'm more concerned about injury stuff, rather than team dynamics.

In all honesty, you can't win in this market. Too far ahead "the team will take the foot off the pedal and get complacent". Teams getting close "The team isn't good enough". Same with if the team wins by a lot or only wins by 1, there is always something wrong with either outcome. It's like Goldilocks with only 2 bears in this market.

Is Campbell healthy yet ? We need to give him a legitimate shot as a starter. Second in save percentage and gaa (small sample size) but he looked great in those games.

I'm hoping Campbell plays Sunday against the Sens.

Lost in the losses is the fact that the Leafs are playing probably their best hockey of the season right now. They've been improving steadily since the start but have really turned it up lately, especially with the most recent line changes.

1st 9gms: 49.2xgf% 5v5, 51.3xgf% All
2nd 9gms: 54.6xgf% 5v5, 56.1xgf% All
3rd 9gms: 56.1xgf% 5v5, 56.6xgf% All

Since Matthews came back giving us our current top 3 lines setup for the first time all year: 60.4xgf% 5v5, 62.4xgf% All
