Caufield dominating the Leafs thoroughly. Easily the best player on the ice on either team tonight.

Montreal, despite having a depleted lineup and having traded away many players, continues to humiliate and destroy the Leafs carrying on where they picked off in the playoffs where they humiliated the Leafs in historic generational fashion.
Lol, I think he hit the net by accident, if you judge him based off his average shot.

As good as they played in the first, that second was a disgrace.

Always on the wrong side of the puck, turnovers galore and everyone waiting for the puck to come to them. Loser hockey.

Nylander having quite the lazy effort.

This team we saw in the 2nd period gets swept in the playoffs regardless of who we play.

Pathetic effort and execution by the entire team.

They really showed the Habs... Get smoked, talk about retribution, dominate for 20 minutes, mail it in. Nice.

Let's see what they can muster up for the third.

Sorry disagree. Babcock HOF coach, Lou HOF GM, multiple assistant coaches, Dubas and Keefe being soft on them instead of hardasses.

This is on the players fully. They need to be accountable this offseason if they lose again, and I don't care who they lose against.
This core is coach-killers. Babs and Keefe polar opposites in their player relationships and man management. Same results.

Maple leafs fans weird obsession with blaming whoever is the GM, truly unique in sports.
Would never consider something like holding the players accountable

He’s assembled the roster right? and yes Maple Leafs fans do. There’s as many people who are sick of the players as there are that are sick of management.

It’s a combination of both. Dubas has to hold some of the blame, he inherited a gift of a team and he’s done nothing with it. The contracts will be his demise in this city. People will never get over it. If they don’t advance past the first round you either have to move on from Dubas or Nylander has to be moved. I think those are the two options unfortunately.

A lot of this is self inflected, as usual, but you can't tell me Montreal deserves to be 2-0 in the penalty department. The league is a joke, this will probably be another game where the Leafs get zero power plays.
