There's a lot of luck in hockey. We got tonnes of terrific chances to make it 4-1 on that PP, including hitting a post. Instead don't quite convert, and the Ducks get perfect timing on winning the puck right when Silfverberg is popping out of the box. Then a great shot by him against gassed defenders (though that's less luck, Silf is a great shooter).
You can blame Keefe's tactics, the stars were gassed after that very extended PP time and didn't have the energy to back check hard enough, but it also almost worked to make it a 4-1 game. It was a bit of a gamble, happened to work out poorly, but almost worked out well - that's the luck component.
We deserve to be up more than 3-2, but oh well, it's still a lead going into the 3rd. Keep up the dominant play and we'll likely win.
